ADAFZ offers the following products at the Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Bateen Executive Airport and Al Ain International Airport,

  • Land Plots for Lease: we have plots/parcels of land for long-term lease where you can locate your purpose-built / build-to-suit facilities
  • Ready Warehouse Facilities:  Available warehouse space: 360 m2 (15m x 24m) and multiples up to a maximum of 2,880 m2 (8 units) under single roof
  • Offices: Offices available at Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Bateen Executive Airport and Al Ain International Airport
  • Business Center: our customers will be offered a fully serviced offices as well as workstations as per their immediate business needs at Abu Dhabi Airport

Types of Entities:

A business at Abu Dhabi Airport Business City can be registered as one of the following three legal entities:

  • Free Zone Limited Liability Company FZ-LLC (Corporate)
  • Free Zone Limited Liability Company FZ-LLC (Natural)
  • Branch of a Local or Foreign company

STAGE ONE – Initial approval

The initial approval process is free and simple. To set up a branch company, we require you to provide us with the following :

  • Completed Application form
  • Business plan
  • Copy of existing Trade license / Registration Certificate (if you are an existing company)
  • Color Passport copies of the company’s shareholder and the appointed manager for the new ADAFZ company
  • 2 years audited financial reports for corporate entity or certificate of reference from a personal bank of the individual shareholder

STAGE TWO – Registration

  • Payment of registration fees of AED 5,000 or AED 7,500, together with License fees of between AED 15,000 to AED 50,000 depending on whether a service, trade or manufacturing license is required.
  • Submit completed application for Registration
  • Board Resolution appointing Manager (Notarized & Attested)
  • Power of Attorney given to Manager (Notarized & Attested)
  • Memorandum & Articles of Association (Notarized & Attested)
  • Specimen Signature of Manager (Notarized & Attested)
  • Passport size photo with white background of Manager

STAGE Three – Licensing & Visa process

  • Lease agreement to be signed
  • Once the above has been completed, we will issue the license immediately.
  • Visa processing will start

Step 1 – Apply for Visa / Entry Permit

  • Fill the Visa application
  • Make necessary payment
  • Provide 1 color copy of passport
  • Provide 3 passport-sized photographs with white background
  • Sign Personnel Sponsorship Agreement (PSA) if not signed already

Step 2 – Apply for Residence Permit (Visa stamping in passport)

  • Travel to Abu Dhabi with the Entry Permit & get it stamped at Immigration
  • Upon receipt of Entry Permit / arrival into Abu Dhabi the following must be completed by the visa applicant
  • Medical checkup at SKMC (Central Hospital Abu Dhabi)
  • Obtain Emirates ID card
  • Obtain suitable medical insurance

First step to start your business within ADAFZ:

Initial approval process is free and simple for which you are requested to provide us the following:

  • Fill the attached application forms
  • Provide us your proposed business plan (you may use the attached sample)
  • CV of shareholder or Trade License / Registration certificate of parent company
  • Color Passport copy of the shareholder + or appointed manager for the new ADAFZ company
  • Bank reference letter from personal bank of the shareholder or 2 years audited financial report of parent company
  • MOA of parent company
